Cancellation and Refund Policy

Air Calédonie International provides flexible cancellation and refund options, ensuring convenience for its passengers. Below are the key points of their policy:

24-Hour Cancellation Rule

Passengers who book directly with Air Calédonie International (Aircalin) may cancel their reservation within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund, provided that the scheduled departure is at least 24 hours away at the time of cancellation.

Non-Refundable Tickets

Tickets purchased under Saver or promotional fares are generally non-refundable after the 24-hour grace period. If cancellation is made beyond that period, the unused portion of the ticket may be converted into a travel credit for future use, subject to applicable cancellation fees and fare conditions.

Refundable Tickets

Passengers holding refundable or flexible fare types may cancel their flight anytime before departure and receive a full refund to the original form of payment, minus any administrative fees if applicable.

How to Cancel

To cancel or modify your flight, visit the Manage Reservations section on the Aircalin website or mobile app. Enter your booking reference and passenger details to process a cancellation, request a refund, or make flight changes. Tickets booked through travel agencies must be managed directly with the issuing agent.

Refund Policy

Refunds for eligible tickets will be credited to the original payment method. For payments made by credit card, refunds are usually processed within 7–10 business days, though processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

Baggage Fees

If the flight is canceled by the airline:

The airlines will refund prepaid baggage fees automatically or allow you to use the credit on your rebooked flight. You can usually request a full refund through the airline’s website or customer service.

If you cancel the flight yourself:

Prepaid baggage fees are often non-refundable, unless you booked a refundable fare or the airline’s policy explicitly allows it.
