  1. Notify ANA Staff at the Arrival Airport: Report the baggage immediately to ANA staff at the airport.

  2. Receive a Reference Number: Get a reference number from the staff to track the status of your baggage.

  3. Track Online: Use the reference number on the ANA baggage tracing system website to check your baggage status.

Missing Baggage

If your baggage is missing after traveling on an ANA Group, follow these steps to report lost property, track your baggage, and receive compensation.

  1. Report Missing Baggage

  2. Note: If your flight was operated by another airline (codeshare), contact that airline for assistance.

  3. Baggage Tracing

  4. ANA uses a joint baggage search system to locate missing baggage:

Note: If you don't have a reference number, visit the baggage service desk at the arrival airport.

  5. Baggage Return: Once found, ANA will deliver your baggage to the designated address after clearing customs.

  6. Contents Declaration

  7. For faster baggage retrieval, provide details about the contents of your missing baggage. This will also be used for compensation:

  8. Compensation for Missing Baggage

  9. If your baggage is not located, ANA will process compensation in accordance with the Conditions of Carriage. Compensation is typically issued within 30 - 45 days of your arrival.

Important: Make a missing baggage declaration within 21 days from your expected baggage pickup date.

  10. Missing Baggage on Non-ANA Flights
