Passengers traveling with Asiana Airlines are welcome to bring the following:

Carry-on Baggage

Economy: 1 carry-on bag + 1 personal item (e.g., laptop bag).

Business: 2 carry-on bags + 1 personal item.

Total weight limit: 10 kg (for all classes).

Maximum dimensions (carry-on): total linear size ≤ 115 cm, such as 55 × 40 × 20 cm for the main bag.

Checked Baggage Allowance

International Flights

To/from U.S. / North America

Economy: 2 pieces, each up to 23 kg

Business: 2 pieces, each up to 32 kg

Non-U.S. International

Economy: 1 piece up to 23 kg

Business: up to 2 pieces, each up to 32 kg

Domestic (Korea) Flights

Economy: 20 kg free checked baggage

Business: 30 kg free checked baggage

Size Limit

Checked bags must not exceed 158 cm in total linear dimensions (length + width + height).

Maximum weight per piece is 32 kg, regardless of route.

Excess / Oversize Baggage

If your baggage exceeds the free allowance (weight, number, or size), Asiana charges excess baggage fees.

For large or bulky items, especially on international flights, fees depend on the route, the weight or size overflow, and whether multiple segments are involved.

The maximum allowed weight for a single checked item is 32 kg; bags above that may be rejected or must be repacked.
