Cancellation Policy

You may cancel a ticket and request a refund, but the amount refunded depends on your fare type.

If you cancel within 24 hours of purchase, Asiana waives the cancellation or refund penalty (for tickets bought directly).

For cancellations made later: refund penalties apply depending on how far in advance of departure the request is made, the fare class, and route type.

No-shows (failing to fly without canceling) incur a penalty according to fare rules.

For partially used tickets, only the unused portion is eligible for refund—minus used-fare cost and penalty.

Refund Policy

Refunds are credited back to the original form of payment.

For airline-initiated cancellations (e.g., flight canceled or significantly changed), Asiana may waive refund fees.

Refunds for irregular operations (delays, cancellations) may be possible, and compensation or credit is offered in some cases.
