Bangkok Airways provides flexible cancellation and refund options, ensuring convenience for its passengers. Below are the key points of their policy:

Airline Cancels or Changes the Flight (Involuntary Cancellation / Schedule Change)

If Bangkok Airways cancels your flight, delays it significantly, or changes the schedule and you do not accept the new option, you are entitled to a full refund of the unused portion of the ticket (fare and unused segments).

You may also be offered re-routing or alternative flights at no extra cost, subject to availability and your acceptance.

Voluntary Cancellation by Passenger (Before Departure)

If your fare permits refunds:

• You may cancel the ticket before departure.
• A refund/cancellation fee will apply depending on the fare type (flexible, promotional, special fare).
• Refund amount = fare paid minus applicable cancellation fees.
• If part of the journey has been used, refund applies only to the unused portion after deducting fees.

If your fare is non-refundable (promo / special / “Saver” type):

• Cancellation may not entitle you to any fare refund — the fare may be forfeited.
• Only eligible taxes and fees may be refunded, depending on the specific fare rules.

Deadline & Notice Requirements

• Cancellation must be made before the scheduled departure time.
• No-show (failing to board without cancellation) usually results in forfeiture of the entire ticket with no refund.
• Some fare types allow same-day cancellation after ticketing with reduced or no penalty (varies by fare rule).

Refund Conditions & Restrictions

• Refunds are processed only after all unused e-ticket coupons are verified.
• If part of the ticket is used, refund covers only remaining unused segments.
• Refunds must be requested by the passenger or an authorized representative.
• For tickets purchased through travel agents or third-party websites, refunds must be requested from the original point of purchase.
