China Southern Airlines operates from Terminal 1 at Kansai International Airport (KIX). Passengers flying with China Southern Airlines may complete their check-in easily through the following available options.

Airport Check-in Counters

Check-in counters are located in the International Departures area of Terminal 1, KIX.

Counters open 3 hours before departure and close 60 minutes before departure.

Baggage Drop

After completing check-in, proceed to the baggage drop counters in the same area.

Ensure your checked baggage meets weight and size limits.

Online / Mobile Check-in

The online / mobile check-in opens 24 hours before departure and closes 1 hour before departure.

Passengers with mobile boarding passes must still visit the counter if they have checked baggage.

Boarding

Boarding begins 40 - 50 minutes before departure. Gates are located after immigration and security checks in Terminal 1.

Recommended Arrival Time

Arrive at KIX at least:

• 3 hours before international flights

• More time during peak travel seasons (holidays or summer)
