Egyptair Baggage Allowance

Passengers travelling on Egyptair itineraries from Kansai International Airport must follow the baggage rules indicated on the ticket and those of the operating carrier when flights are conducted under codeshare arrangements.

Carry-on Baggage

Economy Class passengers may carry one cabin bag up to 8 kg with maximum dimensions of 55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm. Business Class passengers may carry two cabin bags within the same size and weight limits.

One personal item such as a handbag or laptop case is permitted and must fit under the seat. Cabin baggage must comply with airport security requirements.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Allowance depends on class of travel and fare conditions:

• Economy Class: allowance based on fare rules, commonly 1 piece up to 23 kg
• Business Class: 2 pieces, each up to 32 kg

Each checked item must not exceed 158 cm in total dimensions. Individual items above 32 kg are not accepted and must be repacked.

Extra Baggage

Additional baggage can be purchased through airline offices, online services, or at the airport. Charges apply when weight, size, or number of items exceeds the permitted allowance.

Special baggage such as sports equipment or musical instruments requires prior approval and may incur handling fees.
