Firefly Baggage Allowance

Passengers travelling on Firefly itineraries from Kansai International Airport must follow the baggage rules of the operating carrier, which is Malaysia Airlines (MH) for these routes.

Carry-on Baggage

Firefly-operated flights allow one cabin bag not exceeding 7 kg with maximum dimensions of 56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm.

One personal item such as a handbag, laptop bag, or small accessory is permitted in addition to the main cabin bag.

Cabin baggage must be stored in overhead compartments or under the seat and must comply with airport security screening. Items exceeding limits are transferred to checked baggage and may incur fees.

Checked Baggage Allowance

For flights operated by Malaysia Airlines (MH) under Firefly booking:

• Economy Class: up to 30 kg on international sectors
• Business Class: up to 40 kg on international sectors

Each checked item must comply with airline dimension limits, with a maximum of 158 cm in total size. Individual bags exceeding 32 kg are not accepted.

Extra Baggage

Additional baggage cannot be pre-purchased for codeshare bookings and must be paid at the airport if limits are exceeded.

Special items such as sports equipment may require handling arrangements and applicable charges.
