If an item is misplaced during a Firefly journey or within the airport,
assistance is coordinated through the operating airline or airport authority.
Items Left on Board the Aircraft
Items left onboard flights arriving at Kansai International Airport are
collected after arrival and transferred to ground staff for recording and
storage.
Items Lost at the Airport
Items misplaced within terminal areas are handled by the airport’s lost property
office.
Baggage-related Lost Property
Passengers must report delayed or missing checked baggage immediately upon
arrival at the baggage service counter. A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) is
issued for tracking.
Reporting a Lost Item
Passengers must provide flight details, baggage tag numbers, and a description
of the missing item when submitting a report.
Recovery and Collection
Recovered items are stored for a limited period. Identification and proof of
ownership are required for collection. Delivery arrangements may be available
depending on location.
Passengers are advised to keep valuables in cabin baggage.
