If you've lost an item during your ITA Airways flight or at the airport, ITA Airways is here to help. The Lost and Found service ensures you can easily report and recover your lost belongings.
Follow these steps to report and recover your lost items.
Items Left on Board the Aircraft
Items left onboard ITA Airways aircraft are collected by cabin crew and ground
staff after arrival at Kansai
International Airport. These items are recorded and transferred to the
airline’s lost property unit.
Items Lost at the Airport
Items misplaced within airport terminals, including security areas and boarding
gates, are handled by Kansai
International Airport’s lost and found office.
Baggage-Related Lost Property
Missing or delayed checked baggage must be reported immediately at the baggage
service counter. A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) is issued for tracking
purposes and follow-up actions.
Reporting a Lost Item
Passengers must provide flight details, baggage tags, and a clear description of
the missing item when submitting a report. Reports can be filed at the airport
or through official airline channels.
Recovery and Collection
Recovered items are stored for a limited duration. Collection requires valid
identification and proof of ownership. Delivery services may be arranged when
available.
Passenger Advice
Passengers must keep valuables in cabin baggage at all times. The airline does
not accept liability for unsecured items left onboard or within airport
premises.
