Cancellation Policy

24-Hour Cancellation Rule

Jetstar Japan allows bookings made directly through its official channels to be canceled within 24 hours of purchase if the departure date is at least seven days away. Eligible cancellations under this rule qualify for a full refund to the original form of payment without deduction.

Non-Refundable Tickets

Starter fares and other basic fare categories are non-refundable. When a cancellation is processed, the value of the ticket is retained as a travel credit for future use, subject to fare conditions. Cancellation fees are deducted from the remaining balance.

Refundable Tickets

Flex bundles or fares that include flexibility options permit cancellations with refunds issued as travel credit or back to the original payment method, depending on the purchased bundle terms. No cancellation penalty applies where flexibility is included.

Passengers can cancel bookings through the “Manage Booking” section on Jetstar Japan’s website or mobile platform. Customer support channels are also available for assistance with changes or cancellations.

Excess Baggage Fees Refund

Prepaid baggage fees are refundable only if the associated flight is canceled by the airline. Voluntary cancellations do not qualify for reimbursement of baggage purchases.
