Jetstar Japan offers both domestic and international flights to destinations across Asia, Europe, and beyond. This guide provides all the key information you need for a smooth check-in experience at the airport.

Airport Counter Check-in

The amount of time needed to complete all check-in requirements varies depending on your itinerary. Jetstar Japan recommends arriving early to ensure a smooth check-in process.

• Check-in: Available 2 hours to 30 minutes before your flight departs for domestic flights; Available 3 hours to 45 minutes before your flight departs for international flights
  

• Location: Terminal 1, Kansai International Airport
  

Note: Check-in row assignments may change. Please refer to the Flight Information Display Screens at the airport for the most up-to-date check-in row information.

Online Check-in

Skip the queues at the airport by checking in online . Here's what you need to know:

• Online Check-in: Available 48 hours to 2 hours before departure.
  

• Exceptions: Not available if you're traveling with an infant (expect domestic flights within Japan), to/from the US, booked through Jetstar Group, with a service dog or requiring an extra seat, have a hearing or vision impairment (except on certain domestic flights), have an outstanding balance, or departing from an international terminal on a domestic flight.
  

Note: If online check-in is unavailable, please proceed to the Jetstar Japan counter to check in and drop off your baggage. It is recommended to check in early to avoid long queues and ensure a smoother airport experience.

Kiosk Check-In

For faster check-in at the airport, use the kiosk:

• Check-in:  Available 2 hours to 30 minutes before your flight departs for domestic flights; Available 3 hours to 45 minutes before your flight departs for international flights
  

• Location: Terminal 1, Kansai International Airport
  

Note: Kiosk check-in is unavailable for unaccompanied minors, passengers with an extra seat booking, or those needing special assistance. If you're flying domestically or internationally from Japan and have already checked in and selected your boarding pass, you won't be able to reprint it at an airport kiosk. For assistance, please visit a Jetstar team member at the airport.

How to Check-In Using a Kiosk:

1. Search for booking.
   

2. Select passenger(s).
   

3. Confirm your details.
   

4. Select your seat.
   

5. Scan your passport.
   

6. Check baggage allowance.
   

7. Print your boarding pass.
