If you've lost an item during your Jetstar Japan flight or at the airport, Jetstar Japan is here to help. The Lost and Found service ensures you can easily report and recover your lost belongings.
Follow these steps to report and recover your lost items.
Items Left on Board the Aircraft
Items left inside Jetstar Japan aircraft cabins are handled by the airline’s
ground handling team after arrival at Kansai International Airport. Retrieved
items are logged and transferred to the airline’s designated lost property unit.
Items Lost at the Airport
Personal belongings misplaced within terminal areas, including security
checkpoints and boarding gates, fall under the responsibility of airport
authorities. Kansai International Airport manages these items through its
centralized lost and found service.
Baggage-Related Lost Property
Delayed or missing checked baggage must be reported immediately at the baggage
service counter located in the arrival hall. A Property Irregularity Report (PIR)
is issued to track the luggage. Compensation and tracing follow aviation
regulations and airline policy.
Reporting a Lost Item
Passengers must submit detailed reports including flight number, travel date,
seat number, and a description of the lost item. Reports can be filed online or
directly at airport service counters. Identification is required for
verification.
Recovery and Collection
Recovered items are stored for a limited holding period. Passengers may arrange
collection at the airport or request courier delivery where available. Proof of
ownership must be presented before release.
Passenger Advice
Passengers are required to secure personal belongings throughout the journey.
Valuable items such as electronics, passports, and money must be carried in
cabin baggage. Jetstar Japan does not assume liability for unsecured personal
items left onboard or in public airport areas.
