Jetstar Japan Seat Selection

Jetstar Japan allows you to select your seat either at the time of booking or later if you prefer. You can choose from aisle, window, or standard seats, with additional fees depending on the seat type and availability.

Jetstar Japan Seat Types

Standard Seats: These are the most affordable option, and the price may vary depending on their position on the aircraft. Standard seats are often grouped into zones. If you have a Starter Plus, Flex, or Max bundle, you can select any available standard seat, subject to availability.
Upfront Seats: Located near the front of the aircraft, these seats help you board and disembark more quickly. Upfront seats can be purchased separately, or they may be included at no extra cost with a Flex or Max bundle.
Extra Legroom Seats: These premium seats offer more space and are ideal for long-haul flights. Located in the exit rows, these seats require passengers to meet specific exit row criteria. Extra legroom seats can be purchased separately or may be included with the Max bundle.

Special Seat Requests

Extra Space: If you require additional space, such as an extra seat or a business class seat, you can contact Jetstar Japan for arrangements.
Assistive Devices: Passengers with assistive devices can bring them free of charge.
Infant Travel: If you're traveling with an infant, you can bring a pram, car seat, or portable cot at no extra charge.

Important Seat Selection Information

Non-refundable and Non-transferable: Paid seat requests are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in cases of permitted name changes.
Flight Changes: If your flight is changed or disrupted, Jetstar Japan will make every effort to provide the same or similar seats, but availability cannot be guaranteed.
Seat Changes: If you change your flight, Jetstar Japan will offer you an equivalent seat based on availability. If a higher fee applies, you’ll need to pay the difference.

Tips for Seat Selection

To ensure the best price and seat availability, it’s recommended to select your seat during the booking process. If you decide to change your seat later, be aware that higher fees may apply.
