Jin Air Baggage Allowance

Passengers travelling with Jin Air from Kansai International Airport (KIX) are permitted to carry the following:

Each passenger departing from Kansai International Airport may bring one cabin bag with a maximum weight of 10 kg (22 lbs). The bag must not exceed 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm and must be placed in the overhead compartment.

One additional personal item such as a handbag, laptop case, or small backpack is allowed and must fit under the seat in front.

All cabin baggage must comply with security screening procedures at Kansai International Airport. Items exceeding permitted limits must be checked into the aircraft hold and may incur additional charges.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage allowance for Jin Air flights departing from Kansai International Airport is determined by route and fare type:

• Economy Saver: 15 kg checked baggage
• Economy Standard: 20 kg checked baggage
• Flex Fare: 23 kg checked baggage

Passengers may check multiple pieces within the total permitted weight.

Each checked bag must not exceed 203 cm (total linear dimensions).

The maximum weight per single bag is 32 kg. Items exceeding this limit must be repacked before acceptance.

Passengers must ensure baggage complies with the purchased allowance before arriving at Kansai International Airport. Excess baggage is subject to additional charges.

Extra Baggage

Additional baggage allowance may be purchased in advance through Jin Air’s website or service centers. Prepaid rates apply lower charges than airport purchases.

Excess baggage fees apply when the total weight exceeds the permitted allowance. Charges vary based on route and excess kilograms.

Special baggage such as sports equipment and musical instruments departing from KIX may require prior approval and may incur handling fees.
