Lost and Found

If you've lost an item during your KLM Royal Dutch Airlines flight or at the airport, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is here to help. The Lost and Found service ensures you can easily report and recover your lost belongings. Follow these steps to report and recover your lost items.

Items Lost in the Airport Terminal

For goods left in public areas of Terminal 1 (such as check-in halls, security lanes, restaurants, shops or restrooms), contact the airport’s Lost & Found department. The main contact for the airport is +81 (0)72-455-2500.

Items Lost Onboard or at the Boarding Gate

If the item was left on a KLM aircraft or near the departure gate, you should reach out to KLM’s baggage or customer service team via the Japanese office. Be sure to provide your flight number, date of travel, seat number, and a description of the item.

Additional Information

Found items are generally kept for a limited time (typically up to 3 months) before disposal. For items left on board are usually transferred to the airport’s Lost & Found, but delays can occur.

If you are outside Japan and filing a claim, the same procedure applies but shipping may not be provided free of charge.

For further information on lost and found inquiries, please contact KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Japan Service Hotline at Tel: +81 6 6345 6691 / +81 3 6634 4984.
