Cancellation Policy

24-Hour Cancellation Rule

Passengers can cancel their ticket for a full refund within 24 hours of booking, provided the flight is at least 24 hours away.

Non-Refundable Tickets

If canceled beyond the 24-hour window, the ticket value may be refunded as a credit certificate for future travel, minus any applicable cancellation fees.

Saver and promotional fares are typically not eligible for changes or refunds after the 24-hour booking window.

Refundable Tickets

Refundable tickets can be canceled at any time before departure for a full refund to the original payment method.

How to Cancel

Visit the Manage Booking section on Malaysia Airlines’ website or mobile app.

Enter your booking details to cancel or make changes to your flight.

Eligible Refunds

Refunds for eligible tickets are processed to the original payment method. For credit card payments, refunds take 7–10 business days to appear.

Baggage Fees
