MIAT Mongolian Airlines Baggage Allowance

Passengers travelling with MIAT Mongolian Airlines from Kansai International Airport (KIX) are entitled to the following baggage provisions:

Baggage Allowance

Carry-on Baggage

Economy Class passengers may carry one cabin bag not exceeding 5 kg, with maximum dimensions of 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm.

Business Class passengers may carry two cabin bags within the same size limits.

One personal item such as a handbag, laptop bag, or camera is permitted in addition to cabin baggage.

Cabin baggage must comply with airport security requirements. Items exceeding limits must be checked in.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage allowance is determined by travel class:

• Economy Class: 1 piece up to 23 kg
• Business Class: 2 pieces, each up to 32 kg

Each bag must not exceed 158 cm in total dimensions.

Any single bag exceeding 32 kg is not accepted for transport and must be repacked.

Extra Baggage

Additional baggage may be purchased through airline service channels or at the airport. Charges apply when weight, size, or number of items exceeds the permitted allowance.

Special items including sports equipment may require advance coordination and may incur additional handling charges.
