Nepal Airlines Baggage Allowance

Passengers travelling with Nepal Airlines from Kansai International Airport (KIX) are entitled to the following baggage provisions:

Baggage Allowance

Carry-on Baggage

Each passenger departing from Kansai International Airport may bring one cabin bag with a maximum weight of 7 kg (15 lbs). The bag must not exceed 55 cm x 38 cm x 20 cm and must be stored in the overhead compartment.

One personal item such as a handbag, laptop bag, or small backpack is permitted and must fit under the seat in front.

All cabin baggage must comply with security screening regulations at Kansai International Airport. Items exceeding permitted limits must be checked in and additional charges apply.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage allowance for Nepal Airlines flights departing from Kansai International Airport is based on class of travel:

• Economy Class: up to 30 kg
• Business Class: up to 40 kg

Each checked bag must not exceed 158 cm (62 inches) in total linear dimensions.

The maximum weight per individual bag is 32 kg. Bags exceeding this limit must be repacked before acceptance.

Passengers must ensure baggage complies with the allowance stated on the ticket prior to arrival at Kansai International Airport. Excess baggage is subject to additional fees.

Extra Baggage

Additional baggage allowance can be arranged in advance through Nepal Airlines ticket offices or authorized agents.

Excess baggage charges apply when the permitted weight or size is exceeded. Fees are calculated based on the additional weight and route.

Special items such as sports equipment and musical instruments departing from KIX require prior approval and may incur handling charges.
