Passengers traveling with Philippine AirAsia are welcome to bring the following:

Baggage Allowance

Carry-on Baggage

Each passenger departing from Kansai International Airport may bring one cabin bag with a maximum weight of 7 kg (15 lbs). The bag must not exceed 56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm and should be stored in the overhead compartment.

In addition, one small personal item such as a handbag, laptop bag, or compact backpack is permitted and must fit under the seat in front.

All cabin baggage must meet security requirements at Kansai International Airport. Items exceeding size or weight limits must be checked in and additional charges may apply.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Philippine AirAsia operates a paid checked baggage system. Passengers departing from Kansai International Airport can pre-book baggage allowance based on their travel needs.

Common pre-booked options include:

• 20 kg
• 25 kg
• 30 kg
• 40 kg

Each individual checked bag must not exceed 32 kg and total dimensions must be within 158 cm.

Passengers without pre-purchased baggage allowance will need to pay higher rates at the airport.

Extra Baggage

Additional baggage can be purchased online in advance at discounted rates compared to airport fees.

Charges apply when exceeding purchased weight limits. Fees vary depending on route and excess weight.

Oversized or special items such as sports gear and musical instruments departing from KIX may require prior approval and are subject to handling fees.
