Lost and Found

If you've lost an item during your Qantas flight or at the airport, Qantas is here to help. The Lost and Found service ensures you can easily report and recover your lost belongings.

Items Lost Within Terminal Public Areas

If the item was lost in terminal areas such as check-in counters, security screening, lounges, shops, rest areas, or restaurants, contact the airport’s Lost & Found office.

KIX operates a 24-hour Information Counters reachable at +81 72-455-2500, where staff can guide you on the next steps.

You may also visit the Information Counters located throughout Terminal 1 for in-person assistance.

Items Lost Onboard or at the Gate

If your item was left onboard the aircraft or near the Qantas boarding gate, you should report it directly to Qantas’s ground handling team at KIX.

Provide important details such as your flight number, travel date, seat number, and a clear description of the item to help staff locate it more efficiently.

Important Information

Kansai Airport typically keeps lost property for a limited period, and older items may no longer be searchable.

If your item was lost onboard or handled by an airline contractor, the airport may redirect you to Qantas or the responsible service company.

For in-person support, visit the Information Counters in Terminal 1, where staff can direct you to the correct Lost & Found office or airline desk.
