Carry-on Baggage

Qatar Airways allows passengers to bring hand baggage onboard in addition to checked baggage. The carry-on baggage rules vary depending on the class of service:

For flights to/from Brazil, Economy Class passengers are allowed one piece of hand baggage up to 10kg (22lb).

Maximum dimensions for each piece of hand baggage are 50x37x25cm (20x15x10in).

Passengers may carry personal items such as a lady's handbag, small briefcase, coat, umbrella, crutches, or one small camera.

Liquids, gels, pastes, and aerosols up to 100ml are allowed in a transparent, resealable bag no larger than 20x20cm, with exceptions for baby food and medication (prescription may be required).

Checked Baggage Allowance

The checked baggage allowance on Qatar Airways varies by route and class of service. Passengers should check their ticket for specific baggage details. Here's a breakdown of the checked baggage rules:

Maximum Weight and Size:

The maximum weight for any single piece of checked baggage is 32kg (70lb).

The maximum dimension for each bag depends on the route:

For flights to/from Africa or the Americas or from Damman, the maximum dimension is 158cm.

For flights from Dublin, the maximum dimension is 240cm.

For other destinations, it can be up to 300cm.

Note: Baggage that is irregularly shaped or wrapped in blankets will not be accepted. Ensure that your baggage meets the size and weight requirements to avoid additional charges or delays.

Extra Baggage

If you have more baggage weight and/or pieces than your allowance, additional charges will be applied. You can purchase your extra bag allowance in advance enjoy a great discount. Charges depend on your destination.
