Shanghai Airlines Check-in Information at Kansai International Airport (KIX)

Passengers flying on Shanghai Airlines FM flights from Kansai International Airport complete check-in using the airline’s designated services in Terminal 1.

KIX Self Service Check-in Kiosk

Online Web / Mobile App Check-in

Online check-in is available starting 48 hours before departure and closes approximately 1 hour prior to scheduled departure. Boarding passes may be issued electronically after completion.

Self-Service Kiosks

Self-service kiosks are available in Terminal 1 for printing boarding passes and baggage tags. Passengers with checked baggage must proceed to baggage drop counters after kiosk check-in.

Airport Counter Check-in

Check-in counters open approximately 3 hours before departure and close around 45 minutes prior to departure. Counter locations may vary and are displayed on airport information screens.

Travel Documents

Passengers must present valid passports, visas, and required entry documentation at check-in.

Passengers who do not complete check-in procedures before the cutoff time are not accepted for boarding.
