If an item is misplaced during a Shanghai Airlines journey or within Kansai International Airport, assistance is available through the airline or airport lost property services.

Items Left on Board the Aircraft

Items left onboard Shanghai Airlines flights are collected after arrival and transferred to ground staff for recording and storage.

Items Lost at the Airport

Items misplaced within terminal areas, including check-in halls, security zones, and boarding gates, are handled by the airport’s lost property office.

Baggage-related Lost Property

Passengers must report delayed or missing checked baggage immediately at the baggage service counter upon arrival. A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) is issued for tracking purposes.

Reporting a Lost Item

Passengers must provide flight details, baggage tag numbers, and a detailed description of the missing item when submitting a report through airline representatives.

Recovery and Collection

Recovered items are stored for a limited period. Passengers must present identification and proof of ownership to retrieve belongings. Delivery arrangements may be available depending on location.

Passengers are advised to retain valuables in cabin baggage.
