Shenzhen Airlines Baggage Allowance

Passengers travelling with Shenzhen Airlines from Kansai International Airport (KIX) are permitted to carry the following:

Carry-on Baggage

Each passenger may bring one cabin bag in Economy Class with a maximum weight of 8 kg. The bag must not exceed 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm and must be stored in the overhead compartment.

Passengers travelling in Business Class may carry two cabin bags within the same size restrictions.

One personal item such as a handbag, laptop case, or small backpack is permitted and must fit under the seat in front.

All cabin baggage must comply with security screening procedures at Kansai International Airport. Items exceeding permitted limits must be checked into the aircraft hold.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage allowance is determined by class of travel and route conditions:

• Economy Class: 2 pieces, each up to 23 kg
• Business Class: 2 pieces, each up to 32 kg

Each checked bag must not exceed 158 cm in total linear dimensions.

The maximum weight per individual bag is 32 kg. Bags exceeding this limit must be repacked before acceptance.

Passengers must ensure baggage complies with the allowance stated on the ticket before arrival at Kansai International Airport. Excess baggage is subject to additional charges.

Extra Baggage

Additional baggage allowance may be purchased through Shenzhen Airlines’ website, ticket offices, or airport counters. Prepaid options apply lower rates compared to airport purchases.

Charges apply when baggage exceeds permitted weight, size, or number of pieces. Fees are calculated based on excess weight and route.

Special items such as sports equipment may require prior approval and may incur handling fees.
