Spring Airlines Baggage Allowance

Passengers travelling with Spring Airlines from Kansai International Airport (KIX) Terminal 2 are permitted to carry the following:

Baggage Allowance

Carry-on Baggage

Each passenger may bring one cabin bag with a maximum weight of 7 kg (15 lbs). The bag must not exceed 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm and must be stored in the overhead compartment.

One additional personal item such as a handbag, laptop case, or small backpack is permitted and must fit under the seat in front.

All carry-on items must pass security inspection at Kansai International Airport Terminal 2. Items exceeding permitted limits must be checked and may incur additional charges.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage is not included in the base fare and must be purchased separately:

• Standard purchase: 15 kg to 25 kg depending on fare option
• Additional weight can be added in increments through booking channels

Passengers may check multiple bags within the total purchased weight allowance.

Each checked bag must not exceed 158 cm in total dimensions.

The maximum weight per individual bag is 32 kg. Bags exceeding this limit must be repacked before acceptance.

Passengers must ensure baggage complies with purchased allowance before arriving at Kansai International Airport Terminal 2. Excess baggage is subject to additional charges.

Extra Baggage

Additional baggage allowance may be purchased in advance through Spring Airlines’ website or service channels. Prepaid rates apply lower charges than airport purchases.

Excess baggage fees apply when total weight exceeds the purchased allowance. Charges are calculated based on excess kilograms and route.

Special baggage such as sports equipment may require prior approval and may incur handling fees.
