Thai Lion Air Baggage Allowance

Passengers travelling with Thai Lion Air from Kansai International Airport (KIX) are permitted to carry the following:

Each passenger departing from Kansai International Airport may bring one cabin bag with a maximum weight of 7 kg (15 lbs). The bag must not exceed 40 cm x 30 cm x 20 cm and must be placed in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front.

Passengers may also carry one small personal item such as a handbag, camera bag, or laptop case that fits beneath the seat.

All carry-on items departing from KIX must pass airport security inspection. Items exceeding permitted limits must be checked into the aircraft hold and may incur additional charges.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage allowance for Thai Lion Air flights from Kansai International Airport depends on the route and fare type:

• Economy Class (International Routes): 20 kg checked baggage included
• Promotional Fares: May include reduced or no baggage allowance depending on ticket conditions

Passengers may check more than one piece within the total permitted weight.

Each checked bag must not exceed 158 cm (62 inches) in total dimensions. The maximum weight per single bag is 32 kg.

Passengers must ensure baggage remains within the permitted allowance before arriving at Kansai International Airport. Excess weight is subject to additional fees at the airport.

Additional baggage allowance may be purchased in advance through Thai Lion Air’s website or ticket offices. Advance purchase rates are lower than airport charges.
