Thai Vietjet Air Baggage Allowance

Passengers travelling with Thai VietJet Air from Kansai International Airport (KIX) are permitted to carry the following:

Each passenger departing from Kansai International Airport may bring one cabin bag with a maximum weight of 7 kg (15 lbs). The bag must not exceed 56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm and must be placed in the overhead compartment.

Passengers may also carry one small personal belonging such as a handbag, laptop case, or compact backpack that fits under the seat in front.

All carry-on baggage must pass security screening at Kansai International Airport. Items exceeding permitted limits must be checked into the hold and may incur additional charges.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage for Thai VietJet Air flights from Kansai International Airport is based on purchased allowance:

• Basic Fare: No checked baggage included
• Standard Add-on: 20 kg checked baggage
• Premium Fare: Up to 30 kg checked baggage

Passengers may check multiple bags within the total purchased weight.

Each checked bag must not exceed 158 cm (62 inches) in total dimensions. The maximum weight per single item is 32 kg.

Passengers must ensure baggage complies with purchased allowance before arriving at Kansai International Airport. Excess baggage is subject to additional fees.

Extra Baggage

Additional baggage allowance may be purchased in advance through Thai VietJet Air’s website or booking channels. Prepaid rates are lower than airport charges.

Excess baggage charges apply when the total weight exceeds the purchased allowance. Fees vary based on route and excess weight.

Special baggage such as sports equipment and musical instruments departing from KIX may require prior approval and may incur handling charges.
