Carry-on Baggage
Each passenger departing from Kansai International Airport may bring one cabin
bag with a maximum weight of 10 kg (22 lbs). The bag must not exceed 54 cm x 38
cm x 23 cm and must be stored in the overhead compartment.
Passengers may also carry one personal item such as a handbag, laptop bag, or
small backpack that fits under the seat in front.
All carry-on items departing from KIX must pass airport security screening.
Items exceeding the permitted size or weight will be transferred to checked
baggage and may incur additional charges.
Checked Baggage Allowance
Checked baggage for Tigerair Taiwan flights departing from Kansai International
Airport is based on prepaid allowance purchased at booking:
• No Checked Bag Fare: No checked baggage included
• Standard Fare Add-on: 20 kg checked baggage
• Higher Bundle Fare: Up to 30 kg checked baggage
Passengers may combine multiple pieces within the total purchased weight
allowance.
Each checked bag must not exceed 158 cm (62 inches) in total linear dimensions.
The maximum weight per single bag is 32 kg.
Passengers must ensure baggage complies with the purchased allowance before
arriving at Kansai International Airport. Additional weight is charged at
airport rates if exceeded.
Extra Baggage
Additional baggage allowance may be purchased in advance through Tigerair
Taiwan’s website or booking system. Prepaid options provide lower rates compared
to airport charges.
Excess baggage charges apply when weight exceeds the purchased allowance. Fees
vary depending on route and excess kilograms.
Special baggage such as sports equipment and musical instruments departing from
KIX may require advance approval and may incur handling fees.
