T'way Air Baggage Allowance

Passengers travelling with T’way Air from Kansai International Airport (KIX) are permitted to carry the following:

Carry-on Baggage

Each passenger departing from Kansai International Airport may bring one cabin bag with a maximum weight of 10 kg (22 lbs). The bag must not exceed 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm and must be stored in the overhead compartment.

Passengers may also carry one small personal belonging such as a handbag, laptop case, or compact backpack that fits under the seat in front.

All carry-on baggage departing from KIX must pass airport security screening. Items exceeding permitted limits must be checked in and may incur additional fees.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage allowance for T’way Air flights from Kansai International Airport depends on the fare type:

• Event / Promotional Fare: No checked baggage included
• Smart / Normal Fare: 15 kg to 20 kg checked baggage depending on route
• Business / Premium Services: Higher baggage allowance based on fare conditions

Passengers may check multiple bags within the total purchased weight allowance.

Each checked bag must not exceed 158 cm (62 inches) in total linear dimensions. The maximum weight per individual bag is 32 kg.

Passengers must ensure their baggage complies with the purchased allowance before arriving at Kansai International Airport. Excess weight is subject to additional charges.

Extra Baggage

Additional baggage allowance may be purchased in advance through T’way Air’s website or booking system. Prepaid rates are lower than fees charged at the airport.

Excess baggage charges apply when weight or size exceeds the permitted allowance. Charges are calculated based on route and excess amount.

Special baggage such as sports equipment and musical instruments departing from KIX may require prior approval and may incur handling fees.
