Passengers flying with United Airlines may complete their check-in easily through the following available options.

KIX Self Service Check-in Kiosk

Online Web Check-in

You can check in online or via the United Airlines mobile app from 24 hours before departure.

If online check‑in is unavailable for your booking (for example, unaccompanied minors or special assistance), you'll need to check in at the airport counter.

Self Service Check-in Machine (Kiosk)

Self‑service kiosks are available at Terminal 1 of Kansai International Airport (KIX) for United flights. These allow you to print boarding passes and baggage tags.

Check‑in via kiosk is available starting from 24 hours before departure.

Airport Counter Check-in

United's check‑in counters at KIX are located in Terminal 1, International Departures area.

Check‑in time limits:

• With checked baggage: up to 45 minutes before departure.

• Without checked baggage: up to 30 minutes before departure.

• For international flights: check‑in available until 60 minutes before departure.

Recommended Arrival Time

Because of the international nature of United's flights from KIX, it's advisable to arrive at the airport at least 2–3 hours before departure to allow time for check‑in, baggage drop, security, and immigration.
