Passengers traveling with Vietjet Air are welcome to bring:

Carry-on Baggage

Vietjet Air allows passengers to bring 1 main hand luggage and/or 1 small handbag on board, with specific weight and size limits:

• Weight Limit: Maximum 7kg (depending on your ticket and route).

• Main Luggage Size: Max 56cm x 36cm x 23cm.

• Handbag Size: Up to 30cm x 20cm x 10cm (e.g. handbag, book, camera).

• Other Items: Jackets (up to 114cm x 60cm x 11cm) or laptop bags (40cm x 30cm x 10cm) are allowed.

Important Notes:

• Hand luggage must be tagged at check-in.

• Liquids must be in 100ml containers, and all liquids should be placed in a clear, resealable 1-liter bag.

• Overweight or oversized bags may incur fees. It’s cheaper to pre-book baggage.

Checked Baggage Allowance

For checked baggage, Vietjet Air provides clear weight and size limits:

• Normal Baggage: Max 32kg per piece, with dimensions up to 119cm x 119cm x 81cm.

• Oversized Baggage: Items up to 200cm x 119cm x 81cm, still within the 32kg weight limit.

*The Golf Club Set is considered normal checked baggage, as long as its total dimensions do not exceed 203cm.

Pre-booking Options:

• You can pre-book baggage online, at agencies, or through the call center to save on airport fees.

• Oversized baggage can be booked in advance and includes both checked and oversized baggage allowances.

Note: Additional oversized items may incur higher fees at the airport. Passengers can bring up to 2 oversized pieces per flight.

Extra Baggage

If you have more baggage weight and/or pieces than your allowance, additional charges will be applied. You can purchase your extra bag allowance in advance enjoy a great discount. Charges depend on your destination.
