Virgin Atlantic Baggage Allowance

Passengers travelling on Virgin Atlantic itineraries from Kansai International Airport must follow the baggage policy of the operating airline, which is ANA for these services. When Virgin Atlantic baggage rules apply, allowances are based on cabin class and fare type.

Baggage Allowance

Carry-on Baggage

Passengers may carry one cabin bag plus one personal item such as a handbag or laptop bag. Cabin baggage must fit in overhead compartments or under the seat and comply with airport security screening requirements.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Allowance depends on fare category:

• Economy Light: no checked baggage included
• Economy Classic / Delight: 1 piece up to 23 kg
• Premium: 2 pieces, each up to 23 kg
• Upper Class: 2 pieces, each up to 32 kg

Each checked bag must comply with airline size limits, commonly within 158 cm total dimensions. Bags exceeding weight limits are subject to overweight charges.

Extra Baggage

Additional baggage can be purchased online during check-in or at the airport. Fees are applied per additional piece and per flight sector.

Special items such as sports equipment or musical instruments require advance coordination and may incur handling charges.
