If an item is misplaced during a Virgin Atlantic journey or within the
airport, assistance is provided through ANA
or the airport authority.
Items Left on Board the Aircraft
Items left onboard flights arriving at Kansai International Airport are
collected after arrival and transferred to ground personnel for documentation
and safekeeping.
Items Lost at the Airport
Items misplaced within terminal facilities are handled by the airport’s
lost property office.
Baggage-related Lost Property
Passengers must report delayed or missing checked baggage immediately upon
arrival at the baggage service counter. A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) is
issued for tracing.
Reporting a Lost Item
Passengers must provide flight details, baggage tag numbers, and a description
of the missing item when submitting a report through ANA or Virgin Atlantic
customer service.
Recovery and Collection
Recovered items are stored for a limited period. Identification and proof of
ownership are required for collection. Delivery arrangements may be available
depending on location.
Passengers are advised to retain valuables in cabin baggage.
