Items Left on Board the Aircraft
Items left onboard aircraft are handled by the operating airline. Cabin crew
collect and transfer items to ground staff upon arrival at Kansai International
Airport.
Items Lost at the Airport
Items misplaced within Kansai International Airport terminals are managed by the
airport’s lost and found office,
including areas such as check-in counters, security checkpoints, and boarding
gates.
Baggage-Related Lost Property
Passengers must report delayed or missing baggage immediately at the baggage
service counter of the operating airline. A Property Irregularity Report (PIR)
is issued for tracking purposes.
Reporting a Lost Item
Passengers must provide flight details, baggage tag numbers, and a detailed
description of the missing item when submitting a report.
Recovery and Collection
Recovered items are stored for a limited period. Collection requires valid
identification and proof of ownership. Delivery arrangements may be available.
Passenger Advice
Passengers are advised to retain valuables in cabin baggage. Liability for
unattended items left onboard or within airport premises is not accepted.
