Delayed Baggage
If your baggage is delayed with Virgin Australia, here’s how to resolve it:
Report Immediately: If your baggage is delayed, notify the Baggage Services at the airport immediately.
Track Progress: You’ll receive a 10-character reference number to track your baggage via WorldTracer.
Contact Virgin Australia: If your baggage isn't found within 7 days, the claims process begins. For assistance, call the Baggage Contact Centre:
Emergency Expenses: If delayed over 24 hours, submit an Emergency Expenses Claim on Virgin Australia website for reasonable costs.

Damaged Baggagee

Claims Process: Submit the claim within the required timeframe:
Domestic: Within 3 days of receiving part of your checked baggage.
International: Within 7 days of receipt.
