Passengers who misplace items during travel with Xiamen Air or within Kansai
International Airport can report and recover belongings through established
procedures.
Items Left on Board the Aircraft
Items left onboard Xiamen Air flights arriving at Kansai International Airport
are collected by cabin crew after disembarkation and handed over to ground staff
for documentation and storage.
Items Lost at the Airport
Items misplaced within terminal areas such as check-in counters, security
checkpoints, or boarding gates are handled by Kansai International Airport’s lost
and found office.
Baggage-Related Lost Property
Passengers must report delayed or missing checked baggage immediately upon
arrival at the baggage service counter. A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) is
issued to initiate tracking procedures.
Reporting a Lost Item
Passengers are required to provide flight details, baggage tag numbers, and a
description of the missing item when submitting a report at Kansai International
Airport or through Xiamen Air customer service.
Recovery and Collection
Recovered items are stored for a limited duration. Collection requires valid
identification and proof of ownership. Delivery arrangements may be available
depending on location.

Passengers are advised to carry valuable items in cabin baggage. The airline
does not assume responsibility for unsecured personal belongings left onboard or
within airport premises.
