Kaiyukan, located in Tempozan Mountain, Osaka, is one of the world's largest indoor aquariums. With the theme of the Pacific Rim Volcano Belt and Life Belt, it reproduces the natural ecological environment of different regions surrounding the Pacific Ocean. Among them, the whale shark is displayed in the large water tank in the center, which is a popular animal star in the Aquarium Aquarium.

Although there is no animal show in the Aquarium, the 620 species of more than 30,000 creatures of all kinds on display are still full of highlights, including not only a variety of fish, but also amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals and other animals. The vertebrates, plants, etc. are very spectacular. Take a photo with the whale shark model Entering the Aquarium, you will see a huge whale shark model, and many tourists take photos with it here. At the service desk, you can rent a Chinese version of the audio guide with a display for 500 yen.

Next is the wonderful ocean journey. The first thing to enter is the "Fish Crossing·Water Gate". In this tunnel-shaped tank, colorful fish swim above your head, including the naive devil fish, which is super cute. Get out of the tunnel, take the elevator to the upper floor, and then start to whirl down the central water tank, and visit one floor at a time. Some water tanks span several floors, so you can observe the state of the creatures in it at different depths and from different perspectives.

The top layer starts from the "Japanese Forest". The various creatures on the waterside and the fish in the stream present the natural ecosystem in the forest. You will see small-clawed otters, giant salamanders (baby fish), charcoal salmon and other animals. After going down the stairs and walking through the dark passage, it is the sink display area.

The "Aleutian Islands" tank reproduces the cliffs of the Aleutian Islands. The sea otters living here are very cute. In the "Monterey Bay" tank there are California sea donkeys and large toothed seals. The "Panama Bay" tank displays the tropical dry forest in Panama during the dry season, mainly with animals such as the six-spotted pufferfish. The elephant fish in the tank of the "Ecuador rainforest" is one of the largest freshwater fish in the world.

In the "Antarctic Continent", you can observe the living conditions of king penguins, gentoo penguins (gentleman penguins), and rock-hopper penguins. They jump into the water to swim and climb ashore. The slippery look is very flattering. The protagonist of the "Tasman Sea" tank is the Pacific striped dolphins. They chase and play in the water, jumping out of the water from time to time, and their movements are super fast.

The "Great Barrier Reef" tank is full of various colorful tropical fish, which is quite spectacular. Then there is the "Pacific Ocean", a giant water tank with a depth of 9 meters and spanning three floors, which vividly reproduces the scene of the Pacific Rim volcanic belt. Cruising in the center of the tank is the star whale shark in the Aquarium Aquarium, which is the world's largest fish. In addition, lobsters, octopuses, loggerhead turtles, Japanese spider crabs and jellyfish of various shapes can be seen in the Kaiyukan. If you come here at night, there is still a chance to see the cute sleeping postures of the animals.
