Batik Air Malaysia Baggage Allowance

Passengers travelling with Batik Air Malaysia from Kansai International Airport are permitted the following baggage:

Baggage Allowance

Carry-on Baggage

Economy Class passengers may bring one cabin bag with a maximum weight of 7 kg and dimensions not exceeding 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm.

Business Class passengers may carry two cabin bags within the same size limits.

One personal item such as a handbag, laptop bag, or small backpack is allowed and must fit under the seat.

All cabin baggage must comply with airport security regulations. Items exceeding limits must be checked in and may incur additional charges.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage allowance for flights departing Kansai International Airport is based on class of travel:

• Economy Class: 1 piece up to 23 kg
• Business Class: 2 pieces, each up to 32 kg

Each checked bag must not exceed 158 cm in total dimensions.

Any individual bag exceeding 32 kg is not accepted and must be repacked.

Passengers must ensure baggage complies with the allowance stated on the ticket. Excess baggage is subject to additional charges.

Extra Baggage

Additional baggage may be purchased in advance through the airline’s website or airport counters. Prepaid rates are lower than airport rates.

Charges apply when baggage exceeds the permitted weight, size, or quantity. Special items such as sports equipment or musical instruments may require prior approval and additional fees.
