If an item is lost during a Batik Air Malaysia flight or within the airport, assistance is available through the Lost and Found service. Passengers can submit a report for missing belongings and arrange recovery.
Refer to the steps below to report and collect lost items.
Items Left on Board the Aircraft
Items left onboard flights arriving at Kansai International Airport are
collected and handed to ground staff for recording and storage.
Items Lost at the Airport
Items misplaced within the terminal are handled by the airport’s
lost property office.
Baggage-related Lost Property
Passengers must report delayed or missing checked baggage immediately upon
arrival. A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) is issued for tracking.
Reporting a Lost Item
Passengers must provide flight details, baggage tag numbers, and a description
of the missing item when submitting a report.
Recovery and Collection
Recovered items are stored for a limited period. Identification and proof of
ownership are required for collection. Delivery arrangements may be available.
Passengers are advised to keep valuables in cabin baggage.
